“Naruto!” Chouji panicked as he felt Naruto gasping. He quickly sat him down on a crate and leaned him up against the wall. “Are you okay, Naruto?” He took on Suigetsu in his state? He just broke up with Sasuke for god’s sake, he must be mentally destroyed. “Lemme go get you some water.” he went into the shop a few houses down and got a bottle. “Here.”

Naruto gritted his teeth as Chouji sat him down. He watched Chouji leave in the corner of his eye and kept his hand clutched against his chest. It was always Sasuke that brought on these attacks. The pain was unmeasurable and he felt as though his chest had been pierced. Naruto took the bottle and sipped it, but he couldn’t hold it in. He coughed the water up and leaned over, holding his chest tightly. Why? Why did everything have to be taken from him? Why did things go wrong no matter how much he smiled?

Okay, this was getting serious. He needed to get Naruto to a hospital, and pronto. “We need to get to the hospital now. Lady Tsunade or Lady Shizune can help you there.” he picked Naruto up bridal style and started running as fast as he could. Come on Naruto, hang in there. He felt bad for his friend. Naruto didn’t have the best childhood, so he deserved happiness. But could Sasuke give that? Or is Naruto just digging a deeper grave? He turned the corner.

Naruto laughed slightly through the anxiety attack. He gripped Chouji’s collar and opened one eye. “No… home… I want to go home…” He knew it was stupid, but he didn’t need the extra attention. Shit was already at an all time low so why make it worse? Naruto closed his eyes tightly as he felt tears forming. Why did it hurt so much every time he lost Sasuke?

He looked down at Naruto sadly. He knew that it was not what was best for him, but if Chouji took him to the hospital, Naruto might try to escape and exert himself. He nods. “Fine.” he took a left, heading for the blonde’s parents’ apartment. “I’m assuming your parents’ place unless you want to face Sasuke.”

Am I dead?
